Hey Papa Joël

I am a bit disappointed that I have not heard from you after my great herding adventures (AHBA Ranch trial "high in trial" title and the rest...) that Ildiko posted on Facebook several weeks ago.

Anyways she has seriously raised the bar now and entered me and Csupasz for a "Down and Under" Australian Shepherd Club Competition. She said that peasant dogs like us has nothing to do with the sanitized competitions of the AKC. So we will go soon ( in August ) down and dirty to make some splashes in the murky waters of wild herding adventures. Honestly, I watched these Crocodile Dundee pups on YouTube and honestly we just need some times to set herding history straight...

Enclosed find this photo, depicting a private moment of our everyday domestic milieu... The Fako Pumi girl on my back is Kaffogó Agyag Pumi whom I tutoring in the Herding sciences...

Hope to hear from you

Marathon herding weekend for the two Pumis, Abiqua Dogos Csupasz and Felallo-Fulu Fruska at the Susuque-Nango Kennel Club in Windsor, NY. Friday we entered two AHBA trials. In their first ever Herding Ranch Dog (HRD-I) competition, Fruska got 1st place and "High in Trial," and Csupasz got 4th place (unfortunately, he did not Q.) In the afternoon, we entered HTAD-I where Csupasz got 1st place and Fruska 2nd place. Both dog Q-d and also earned their titles.

Saturday and Sunday both dogs entered AKC Started A-Sheep. They've already got their titles last year, so we used these entries as practice for intermediate level competitions we plan to enter later this year. Saturday Fruska got 3rd place and Q-d. I excused myself with Csupasz about half way. He kept "missing the train..." Sunday Csupasz was a different dog convincing and powerful. He got 2nd place 1 1/2 points behind the winner (Q). Fruska got 4th place and also Q-d.

This was our season opening weekend and they really "marked their territory" :-) . The judges were very impressed by the two Pumis! Video is coming later
